Experience the Norwegian Coast with Havila Voyages

    Life on board

As a new shipping company sailing along the magnificent Norwegian coast, Havila Voyages will ensure that you are utterly comfortable on board one of our new, sustainable coastal cruise ships.

    A unique Norwegian Culinary Voyage

To ensure our guests the very best, we have developed a unique food concept that offers flavours reflecting the gastronomic cultures along the Norwegian coast – made with the best food ingredients our country has to offer.

    Flavours of Norway

On board Havila Voyages, the menu is determined by the coast. During the round trip – from Bergen to Kirkenes and back again – the ship sails through four different "food universes", each of which has its own flavors.

    Our four food universes

In our main restaurant, Havrand, the menus – for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – are changed every third day, so that you can get to know the different regions that we sail through.

You can learn more about our food concept and see our menus here.

Our cabins are designed to provide you with the space you need and the quality you deserve. Relax and enjoy a good night's sleep in exclusive Nordic interior reflecting the landscape you sail by.

Our spacious cabins offer you plenty of comfort and room for both daily rest and nightly sleep.

Our cabins and suites range from 16m2 to 45m2 and can accommodate up to four people. We have a wide range of options, from budget cabins to deluxe suites with an utter emphasis on quality and comfort.

    Things to do

Experience the highlights of the Norwegian coast through our varied excursion program. Whether you want to see the northern lights from a dog sled or eat a self-caught king crab after a night of midnight sun, we can create the voyage of your dreams.

    The Excursion Bucket List

    The North Cape plateau

On the European Continent's northernmost point, you will find yourself standing at the "edge of the world" – on the North Cape plateau, rising 307 meters straight up from the Arctic Ocean. Look out across the horizon, and see the Earth curve in front of you.

Visit a Snow Hotel in Kirkenes

Ice cubes in a glass are one thing, but when the table is made of ice, as well as the chairs, the counter, the candle sticks the decorations, and the surrounding walls – yes, even the fireplace is made of ice – then, we are talking about a snow hotel! Come along on this unforgettable visit to a hotel in which everything is made of ice.

RIB-Safari to Saltstraumen and the Sea-Eagles

Go on a boat trip to Saltstraumen, one of the world's strongest maelstroms, and see the famous vortexes up close.

Be seduced by the raw nature and learn about the creation of this dramatic landscape. See the Caledonian mountain folding up close and be amazed by the ancient history of the north. Did you know that Northern Norway has been populated since the Stone Age?

Bodø holds the largest population of sea eagles in the world, and you are very likely to encounter one of these majestic birds along your journey.

    Dog Sledding and Huskies

Speed, fun, and a lot of affection! Dog sledding in the Norwegian winter landscape offers an entirely unique experience that will stay with you long afterward. In fact, this activity is so popular that we offer three different excursions involving dog sledding.

    A Taste of Vesterålen

This may just be a small piece of Norway, but the impressions you get of this stunning area, so enriched by its culture and history, will stay with you forever. This tour takes you through Vesterålen's beautiful scenery and exciting history where, among other things, you visit a living medieval farm.

    Hiking at Torghatten

Come along to one of the most distinctive mountains on our route: Torghatten, the mountain with a big tunnel going straight through it. The hole was created by nature as the North American and European continental plates collided 600 million years ago, but while science tells us one thing, legends tell us something else.

Bergen and Mount Ulriken from Sea to Summit

A journey along the Norwegian coast is not complete without an authentic experience of Bergen; the gateway to the fjords and the city of the Seven Mountains. With its rich history and spectacular landscape, Bergen has been the largest and most important city in Norway throughout most of its thousand years of existence.

Discover the history, flavors, and most magnificent views on this emission-free guided tour through the city of Bergen and to the top of Mount Ulriken.
